To celebrate Callie turning two, we invited some friends and family over for an ice cream sundae party. We made sure to have plenty of ice cream and all the yummy toppings - Oreos, cookie bites, chocolate chips, M&Ms, marshmallows, gummy bears, sprinkles, chocolate sauce, caramel, strawberries, and of course some maraschino cherries to go on top. And I made some ice cream cone cupcakes for dessert as well. We gathered in the shade in the backyard and got to visit and let the kids play while we ate ice cream Then we finished the party off with "Pin the Bow on Callie" (which Nate came up with) and an ice cream pinata. It was a great way to celebrate the birthday girl! Callie is one loved little two-year-old!
Callie's still so young that she didn't quite know the whole party was for her. But she was still very excited that all of her favorite little friends were there - Savannah, Berkley, Logan, and Tagg.
Callie ate about 3 big bowls of ice cream. She did not want to stop!
These little girls love each other so much! Callie looks out the window for "Berkie" often :)
The little girls also love the little babies.
The pinata was a hit like usual. Callie looked so cute in her little overalls, swinging a bat that was as big as her up at the pinata. The pinata ended up breaking after only a few kids hit it but they didn't seem to mind too much because that meant they got the candy sooner :)
We are so grateful for family and friends that helped us celebrate our sweet girl's special day! And I still can't believe my baby is TWO!
