Christmas morning

Christmas morning is always magical and fun with kids.  Sadly, this year Callie was up pretty much all night on Christmas Eve/early Christmas morning due to having croup...so she was a little tired by the time Christmas morning came around (and so were Nate and I for being up all night with her).  I also came down with a nasty cold so it wasn't the perfect Christmas morning because some of us weren't feeling too great, but it was still a lot of fun.

This year Aiden wanted Legos, Brennan wanted a R/C monster truck, and Callie wanted a kitchen.  Santa definitely delivered and the kids were very excited with their presents!  Among some of the other gifts the kids got: Aiden got a watch, Lego book, Lego table, and scooter; Brennan got walkie talkies, a scooter, books, and some art supplies; Callie got kitchen accessories, an Elsa doll, a minnie mouse dress-up toy, and her first barbie (from my parents).

After opening presents, Nate and the kids went sledding because it snowed A TON the night before. It was a perfect white Christmas. They had a lot of fun.  Then we went to my parent's house for a couple of hours and then decided to just go home afterwards instead of visiting Nate's parents or my grandma because Callie and I were feeling even worse by the afternoon. But despite the sickness, it was a good Christmas!
