For our 9 year anniversary, Nate and I headed to Vegas for a couple of days to relax and spend some quality time together. After a crazy month, we were very excited for a little break. Sadly, my sickness was still around (and I am still not fully recovered from this nasty sickness!) so it wasn't quite as perfect as we had imagined, but we still had fun. We stayed at Planet Hollywood which was fun because it's attached to a mall...so Nate and I did some shopping which I always enjoy :) I had these boots in mind that I wanted and we went to about 20 shoe stores looking for them and I finally found the perfect ones. Nate was a good trooper about shopping for those for so long! We had fun going out to eat and watching movies and getting a pedicure together (Nate's first pedicure ever). It was a quick get away but it was fun hanging out with just the two of us. It's hard to believe we've been married for 9 years!
I loved the Hershey's store...but Nate, not being a fan of chocolate, made sure to find anything that wasn't chocolate..of course.
And here are the boots I searched and searched for...I wanted tan boots, with a little heel, that were comfortable...comfortable ankle boots are hard to find!
And thanks to my parents and Nate's parents for both watching our kids...especially with Callie still being sick and not sleeping so good! A little break from reality was just what we needed!
