We celebrated Brennan's birthday a few days early at Lowe's Air Sports. He has literally been counting down to his party for months...ever since Christmas ended. The party went off without a hitch. It is SO much easier to do a party away from home. We just showed up to Lowe's at 10, set up the balloons and cake, then the kids jumped and played for a little over 2 hours, and then we ate the cake (a lightsaber cake per Brennan's request) and opened presents. And since we went right when it opened, it was not busy at all so the kids rarely had to wait in line for the tramps and rope swings and activities there. It was great. Brennan and some of his friends kept yelling, "I love this place!" so I'm pretty sure everyone had a blast.
My mom helped me make these lightsaber cakes the night before. I think they turned out pretty cute. And since Brennan is obsessed with Star Wars at the moment, he was SO excited when he saw the finished product. We made a green lightsaber for Yoda (Brennan's favorite character) and a blue one for Luke Skywalker (Aiden's favorite). They thought that was pretty cool.
Callie's face showed she had a blast there too :)
Brennan and Lucas acting like they were exhausted...
