Halloween is such a fun holiday with kids. We had a blast this year! We started off the Halloween spirit by carving pumpkins with my family.
They turned out pretty dang cute if I may say so.
We went to the ward Halloween party which is always fun. Our ward throws huge Halloween parties and it's something we look forward to each year. I only got one picture the entire night. It was a picture of Brennan and his little buddies in our ward looking cute in their costumes.
On actual Halloween the day was one big party. It started off by getting the boys dressed and off to school for the school Halloween parade. My mom came with me and the little kids to watch the boys. The parade is a fun little school tradition.
Aiden was Harry Potter this year (he just finished the 1st book and LOVED it!) and Brennan was Darth Vader because Star Wars is everything to these boys these days.
Both boys then had class parties. I helped with Brennan's this year and I was in charge of the craft. We made a little paper plate ghost and they turned out cute. But boy, trying to help six 1st graders at a time make a craft wore me out! Here's Brennan's class with his cute teacher Mrs. Larsen.
When I got back from helping at the school, Callie and Graham got dressed up for Halloween and we had fun taking some pictures. Callie is a little cheeser and she loves to be silly when I pull out the camera. I love that she has a huge personality in her little body. She's so much fun.
Callie was Rapunzel this year...I'm sure we'll have lots of princess costumes in the future :)
And Graham wore the resurrected lion costume that is my favorite costume of all time! He was the cutest and happiest little lion there was!
When the kids got home from school, we hopped in the car and headed down to Nate's work to trick or treat.
Then after that we headed to Main Street in AF to trick or treat some more! We met up with the Lemmons, Brewers, and other Tadjes and had a good time.
Then if all of that wasn't enough partying, we went to my parent's house after that for a Halloween dinner and games. We had a blast there. The kids went trick or treating around the block with their cousins and then the kids did a cupcake walk and ate lots of good food (including the infamous rootbeer). I didn't take any pictures from my parents sadly but it was a great night and it was a Halloween we'll remember!
