October happenings

October was a great month.  Here are some other pictures from the month:

{Sports Galore}
Sports pretty much ruled all of our free time during the month. We had 4 to 5 games a week and practices on top of that so it was a busy month of sports!  But boy was it fun to watch Aiden and Brennan play!
 Aiden's flag football team:
 Brennan's flag football team (that Nate helped coach):

Brennan's soccer team:
 The little cheerleaders (sporting their BYU attire on game day of course):
We celebrated the boys' great season with some JCW's shakes.  Our favorite!
Graham was a fan of a cooke dough shake too :)
 {Momentum Climbing date}
Nate and I have been trying to do a date a week.  Between callings and sports and 4 kids and LIFE, we need date nights weekly to keep our sanity!  We like to change it up and do a little rotation for date nights - once a month we go to the temple, once a month we go on a double date, once a month I plan the date, and once a month Nate plans the date.  Nate picked Momentum Climbing gym for his date and although I was super nervous bouldering (because I've never done anything like that before) we had a good time.  But wow - it is hard!  We were both sore after climbing for just an hour and a half! But it felt good to try something new!

 {Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point Gardens}
This October there were many beautiful weather days!  So we tried to spend as much time outside as possible.  One Saturday we headed to the gardens and had fun looking at all the unique scarecrows.
We especially loved looking at the new Light of World Exhibit as a family.
The Joseph Smith display was definitely our favorite!
{Hee Haws}
One of our favorite fall traditions is going to Hee Haws.  My mom treated us to a fun day with Steve and Rayane's family too.  The slide and corn box were definitely the favorites!
It was another beautiful autumn day!
{Horsetail Falls hike}
Nate and I went on another date up to Horsetail Falls in Alpine.  Graham was our little buddy for the hike too.  It was longer than we thought but a beautiful hike and worth the trek up!
{More random photos}
Nate snapped this photo during family night one night.  I love it cause it shows how engaged the kids were in the bible videos on lds.org.  They love family night and learning about the gospel. We are blessed to have such great kids!
 My cute little shopping buddies:
Costco carts are the best!
Callie's been doing her little co-op preschool and Amanda sent this cute picture of the kids.  I love that Callie gets to do this.
We picked pumpkins one night as a family and I couldn't help myself but put Graham in the wheelbarrow too.
Just Callie "nursing" her baby.  She wants to be like her mommy...nursing ALL the time :)
Brennan loves raking leaves! Like really loves it - waking up early to rake and all.  Nate offered him a dollar for each bag he fills and he's earned about $35 bucks already!  He does a great job and I love that he's such a hard worker!

Look at all those bags!
We shaved Aiden's head...it was a little shorter than I was imagining but luckily hair grows back!  But Aiden sure likes being bald and not gelling his hair each day.
And that wraps up all of my October pictures!
