April happenings

Here are some more pictures from April (in no particular order)

My view during General Conference.  I love that my kids love General Conference as much as I do. It's always a great way to begin the month.
This is a typical view...Graham looking out the window as the boys play basketball.  He LOVES balls, especially basketball!
I got home late from Bunco one night and Nate was up watching Graham on the video monitor.  He had really labored breathing and seemed uncomfortable.  It made us nervous so we got him out to hold him and make sure he was okay.  He was struggling to get a deep breath and it was a scary feeling.  We weren't sure what to do since it was the middle of the night. We called the nurse hotline and they told us to head over to the Emergency room.  So about 2am, I took Graham into the ER (first trip to the ER in my whole life!)  We were there for a few hours while the checked his vitals and suctioned out his nose REALLY good with this crazy suction tool.  He was miserable and couldn't get comfortable.  It was a hard night but they eventually sent us home and told us just to watch him really close.  So we slept him in our room and kept a close eye on him and luckily he got over the nasty virus after a few days.  Seeing your kids sick and miserable is the worst!
The boys took a session of swimming lessons at The Swimming Hole.  They progressed SO much in those 5 weeks and now I feel really comfortable with them swimming on their own at the pool. It will make summertime a little less stressful for me.
Graham's favorite place to play :)
There were a lot of warm days in April and the little kids and I went on a lot of walks.  Graham discovered the slide and he climbs up and goes down over and over.  Things like that make me realize how grown up my baby is getting! Callie is the best helper and big sister to him.  She always helps me take care of him and I love their sweet relationship.
One morning I met up with my old roommate Nikki at Thanksgiving Point.  It was so fun to see her and catch up!  I'm not always the best at keeping in touch with people and I need to be better at it!
Graham never falls asleep in my arms anymore so it called for a picture.  I wish I could snuggle him all day long and never let him grow up!
I take a lot of pictures of Graham because I just wanna soak up this age because it goes by too fast!
Sometimes he tries to get away from me when I pull out my phone for a picture...
We went to the dentist and Brennan got his first cavity.  The dentist gave us some purple pills the kids can chew up and then brush off their teeth and the kids LOVED them. :)
Callie loves having friends over.  And wearing that pink crown :)
Aiden worked hard the past few months on his time machine project. He chose to learn about George Lucas of course :) He did a written report, made a poster, and gave a little speech about him.  He did awesome and it was fun to see him work hard on this big 3rd grade project.
I got to be a chaperone on Brennan's field trip to the zoo.  It decided to be the only day in April to SNOW! So we got out our snow clothes again, bundled up the best we could, and had a great time despite the cold.  Brennan was especially excited to be in Briggs' group.  I love that they are such good buddies.
