May is always a busy month with end of school programs and activities and sports and the beginning of summer and all. Here are some of the pictures I took in May:
We finally made it to the Tulip Festival and it was a fun night with our little family. I love spending quality time with just the six of us.
We met Nate during his lunch one day and we went out for ice cream and boy was Graham a fan! His faces were the best!
He loved it until he got a brain freeze...
While the big kids were at school one day we went to Farm County with Samantha and her kids. It was a fun little outing. I love that my kids have so many cousins to play with!
Brennan finished up his soccer season and he did amazing! He is a natural athlete...especially with soccer. He is fun to watch and he's great at offense and defense and I'm sure soccer will be a big part of his future.
Aiden started up on his baseball team. He is on a team with a lot of his friends from the ward and that has been a lot of fun. He's doing great and progressing so much in baseball!
For Mother's Day, the kids made me a yummy breakfast (with the help of Nate of course) and this cute candy poster:
We ate dinner at my parents that night and my grandma was there too. We tried to take some Mother's day pictures and as the first picture shows, getting my kids to cooperate is not always easy :)
I am so grateful for such an amazing mom! She does so much for us and is such a great example to me!
Graham enjoyed being thrown in the air :)
Four generations!
My mom's mother's day gift to us was a night out for pedicures. We went while the boys went to Fathers and Sons and it was the perfect outing!
FHE one night...the kids were excited about CTR crowns
The boys did their big dance festival at school. I love watching that! Aiden danced to the Shakira song from Zootopia and Brennan danced to a birthday song. We had a picnic on the grass afterwards.
Nate and the two oldest went to Fathers and Sons and had a great time! But since I'm the crazy picture lady and I wasn't there, there's no pictures to show for it! But luckily the next weekend we went up the canyon for a few hours. Nate and his friends did a campout Friday night so we went up to help him set up the tent and play up in the canyon for a bit. It was a little chilly so we were happy to be coming down but he had a good time with his high school friends camping for the night.
The next day we got to go through the Bountiful temple with Jaxson and family. He heads to Guatamala soon on his mission and we are so excited for him!
Graham found some mud outside and didn't like when we took him away :)
Instead of clean him off inside, we gave him a little bath outside.
On Memorial day we did our chores early and went swimming. It's great living so close to the AF pool.
After swimming we went shooting with Aaron and Samantha and kids. The kids got to shoot the paint ball gun and the pellet gun. And the adults got to shoot a hand gun and an assault rifle. I felt a little hick but it was a fun little activity :) After shooting we went to a BBQ at the Pasketts and had a great time.
The day after Memorial day the boys started the AF basketball camp. They got to do it with some buddies and they loved it this year!
They even got to meet a BYU player which they thought was pretty cool.
One other thing I don't have a picture of but want to remember from May:
Elder Bednar came to our stake conference! Having an apostle at stake conference almost never happens anymore. We went to the adult session on Sat, Nate went to the Priesthood leadership session, and I got to sing in the stake choir while Nate watched the kids in the normal session of conference. It was such an uplifting weekend! And Aiden and Brennan even got to shake his hand!
