March happenings

The month started off wonderfully thanks to my loving husband sending me on a girls trip with one of my best friends Ali.  Since he had a business trip last month and was often gone for work and church things, he realized I needed a little "me" time and he planned a girls weekend for me and got Justin on board to send Ali. I really am blessed to have such a loving husband!  Ali and I had a blast up in Salt Lake!  We spent our time shopping (a ton!) and eating out and getting a pedicure, going out for dessert, eating at the yummiest bakery for breakfast, and having some good girl talk.  It was just what we needed and Ali and I decided we wanna make this a more regular thing :)
Ali and I were just put in as the Wolf leaders and so we get to be with our boys in scouts and it's been a lot of fun so far!  The boys especially loved trying the stick pull game when we learned about pioneers.
I went out to dinner with some of the wives of the guys at Northwestern Mutual.  We used to do lots of girls nights and it stopped a little while ago but Julie is bringing them back and I'm looking forward to doing them again. We went out to PF Changs this time and loved catching up.
I love these two little play mates!  Graham is now old enough to really start playing with his siblings and it's so fun to see them become good buddies.
We had a fun movie night celebrating Brennan turning EIGHT! (I posted about that previously)
Callie and I got to go see Peter Pan the Ballet and it was a fun mommy/daughter date!
After Brennan's big day, we then celebrated Graham's big day!  Of course with a choo choo party. (I posted about his day already too). But seriously, how is my baby TWO?!
We went on a lunch date and Graham sure enjoyed this hat at Cubbys :)
He's my little errand buddy...but it's getting harder because he doesn't like to sit in the cart.  At Costco, he was sure excited to find a chair his size.
I spent a few days going through all my baby clothes and getting rid of pretty much everything!  I broke down once and started bawling when I realized how sad it is that this stage of life is coming to an end!  Time is speeding by and I know I'll miss having a baby around.  But for my health, it's time to say goodbye to the childbearing time and focus on the four sweet kids I do have! It's sure bittersweet!
And participated in Battle of the Books and I got to go help judge and watch him compete.  His team didn't do great but I'm proud of his because he read all 20 books and did a great job still.
Aiden's scout den went on a hike and his leader sent me this cute picture of all of the kids:
We got to do a fun Easter egg hunt at Nate's work.  The kids found LOTS of eggs and they had a great time.  And they got to pet a real bunny too.
