Moab Getaway

Over spring break, we decided to head down to Moab for a couple of days to explore Canyonlands and Arches and Moab itself. We headed down early one morning and spent the day hiking to Corona Arch which was an amazing hike and then going on a bike ride on the Moab Canyon Pathway.  We found a little cottage to stay at for the night...it was the size of a tiny house almost and had a little bedroom for me and Nate and a loft for the kids, but it was the perfect spot to sleep for a night.
The next morning we woke up and headed to Dead Horse Point and Canyonlands.  We hiked along the rim of a canyon and the then Aiden and Brennan worked on their packet to become a Junior Ranger.
After a few hours at Canyonlands, we went to Arches (we went there over fall break but didn't hike Delicate Arch so we wanted to go back to do that one). So we ate some lunch and then hiked up the Delicate Arch and it was definitely worth going back for!  It's stunning set up on the end of a cliff and so huge.
Graham was not a happy camper there so we didn't stay as long as we wanted.  But I'm sure glad we did it!  Definitely the coolest arch!
I'm so glad we did this quick getaway!  The kids got along so well and it was so nice to have some quality family time! On the way home we stopped and ate at Wingers in Price and the couple next to us bought all of their kids their own ice cream because they said they were so well behaved! So that was the perfect ending to this little trip!
