Aiden turns TEN

Somehow we now have a TEN-year-old!  For birthdays, we now give our kids a "set" amount that they can do what they want with it. Aiden LOVES Legos and so for the majority of his money he wanted a Lego police truck so he had just a little left over for his party and he decided to invite a few friends to the AF pool for an afternoon. Easiest (and probably cheapest!) party ever!  At the pool the kids were all old enough that they entertained themselves the entire time!  It was amazing and so much easier than Callie's party with lots of five-year-olds. :) Here's Aiden with all of his birthday Legos.

 Aiden really is such a nice and good kid!  He always tries to choose the right and he's so smart!  He makes parenting pretty easy and I hope that keeps up through his teenage years :) Here's his ten-year-old birthday interview:

What is your favorite thing to eat? Almost everything (I like food!)

What are your favorite things to do? Play legos, video games (at friend’s houses), watch tv, play basketball, read good books (like Harry Potter, Land of Stories, Journey to the Center of the Earth)

What are you good at? Basketball, being creative with legos, building things

What is your favorite song? Hedwig’s Theme and Star Wars Theme Song

What do you and your mom like to do together? Play games and do puzzles

What do you and your dad like to do together? Eat candy, go camping, play basketball and football

What do you and your brothers like to do together? Make Graham laugh and build forts with Brennan

What do you and your sister like to do together? Play Legos and build forts and jump on the tramp
