We had a fun family date night at Toad's Fun Zone in Ogden and the kids especially loved laser tag and the go karts. Graham was bummed he was too short to ride the go karts but he did get to play laser tag and we had a blast with all six of us playing together.
The kids brought their school pictures home and they turned out SO good! They are all growing up WAY too fast! Love them all so much!
We hung Graham's pictures and airplanes up in his room and I finally finished decorating the master bedroom. I've had lots of fun making our house feel like our home. Slowly but surely I've been decorating each room. The upstairs is almost complete so I'm looking forward to decorating the basement next and making it ours.
Nate introduced the kids to the upside down chin face one night and the faces turned out pretty awesome. It's a childhood classic.
We met up with my friend Crystal and her daughter June one day at a fun park in Riverdale. Crystal Yamane was in my ward in American Fork and we became good friends there. They moved to West Haven about a year ago and it's so fun to live only about 15 minutes away from her now.
Callie's hair is always staticky!
Nathan & Danae came into town for Thanksgiving and we met up with them, Becca, and my mom one day in Salt Lake to eat lunch at the Lion House Pantry and see some shows in the Legacy theater.
Callie and I made 35 turkey cookies the day before Thanksgiving to give as favors at my mom's Thanksgiving dinner. They turned out pretty cute and I loved having Callie as my little helper.
On Thanksgiving we went to Jack 'n Jill Bowling and had such a blast. I ALMOST beat Nate but he came back at the last minute and beat me by just two points. It's our favorite Thanksgiving tradition. And now that are kids are getting older it's so fun to bowl with all of them.
After a yummy Thanksgiving dinner at my parents, we talked and played some jackbox tv games and finished off the night with pie.
Over Thanksgiving break, we went on a family date to see the Grinch. After the Grinch, we went to Iggy's for dinner and had a fun night together as a family.
As a side note, Nate gives the boys a haircut about once a month. This last time he gave Graham a haircut, Graham was fighting it and would not sit still, so Nate ended up messing up on Graham's hairline...and his haircut reminded us of Lloyd Christmas. This picture shows just how funny his hair looked for the whole month until Nate was able to give him another haircut and fix it :)
Over the break, we also decorated for Christmas.
We all love this time of year and are so excited for Christmastime and getting to spend quality time as a family. Nothing beats the holidays!
