May 2019

Zoo with friends!  We had such a fun time going with the Jensens. We are so grateful to be making good friends up here in South Weber.
Callie went to her friend's birthday party and was so excited about her pretty face paint.  I love that girl and her love of all things girly.
Callie started tumbling 8 months ago and she's improved so much!  She loves it and is constantly doing cartwheels and hand stands and practicing all week long.  She had her tumbling showcase and she did amazing.
Callie's kindergarten class had a special Mom and Me day and I loved getting to be in her class all day and see all she's learned this year.
 Graham loved being there too.
I enjoyed a beautiful Mother's day this year.  I feel so blessed to have these four amazing kids!  They made me sweet cards and gifts and I felt so loved.  We got to spend Mother's day with my mom and Nate's mom and my grandma Blackham.  I am so grateful for the amazing women in my life!

Nate and I had an incredible week in Lake Powell (which I devoted an entire post to).
The day we got back Brennan and the entire 3rd grade celebrated Narnia Day.  It's a big deal in the 3rd grade and he had a great day. I got to see the final battle at the park by our house.  But halfway through it started pouring rain (freezing rain!) so it was a little chaotic. Brennan didn't seem to mind the cold and still had a great day.
Callie had her Kindergarten program and she did awesome.  She knew the words to all of her songs and was so excited to get to perform.
Graham came out of his room one day - half Bob the Builder and half butterfly.  I couldn't help but laugh. I guess when you have big brothers and a big sister you like all different kinds of toys.
I planted some annuals and my vegetable garden.  I am learning a lot about yard work and gardening so I hope I can keep something alive this year.  There's so much to learn and I get overwhelmed sometimes with all I need to learn but I'm taking baby steps.
We went to a trampoline park with the Brewers and the kids had a blast.  Those places are so fun.  Afterwards we went to their house for a sleepover and loved getting to spend some quality time with them.  We sure miss living so close!
On Memorial Day we went to see the new live action Aladdin and we loved it!  It SO good!  I love that we're finally at the stage where we can all go to a movie and everyone sits still.
Callie finished off an awesome soccer season!  The treats after the game were always a highlight for her too.
And just like that, it was the last day of school! To think we started school at Shelley and finished in South Weber makes me realize just how much our lives have changed in the past 9 months.  Our kids had a wonderful year of school and they all quickly made new friends and excelled in their classes.
The boys had a swim party after school and then went on a Deacons campout with Nate that night. While they were gone, the two littles and I discovered an incredible little nature park in South Ogden we definitely want to go to again soon.

Not pictured:
- Nate helped his parents move from Colorado to Utah. We found an assisted living home for Dave and Diane is in a condo across the street.  We are so happy to have them back in Utah and get to spend more time with them!
- Kids went to the Golden Spike celebration with G&G Curtis
