At first, Graham was a little nervous to leave mommy and go to preschool twice a week, but after only a couple times, he was loving it! He was especially excited to get to take the class pet (a stuffed elephant named Stuffy Ella Fluffy) home for the weekend. The beloved pet was in his little backpack.
Thanks to my mom, we got tickets to President Nelson's 95th birthday celebration at the Conference Center. It was amazing! We loved learning more about President Nelson's life and listening to the beautiful music. There were a lot of musical guests that were a part of it (like Nathan Pachecho, the Bonner family, GENTRI, and Donny Osmond) and it was such a treat to get to be at the performance.
We hung out at the Brewers house one night to watch the BYU game and these girls showed their team spirit.
South Weber Elementary had a fun Fall Festival we went to one night. There were pony rides, bounce houses, games, and lots of yummy food. (Aiden and Brennan were off with friends most of the night so we didn't get pictures of them.)
Now that Callie was in school full day with the older kids, Graham and I got a lot of time with just the two of us. I love hanging out with my little buddy! He still doesn't like to wear shirts...but we have finally convinced him pants are necessary :)
Some how I only took one picture of flag football this year but it took up every Monday-Thursday night in September. It was super busy but the kids loved it and had an amazing season! Nate coached Brennan's team this year and they were undefeated!
One weekend we went camping with the Brewers and had an awesome time! We went up to the Spruces and stayed at a great campsite with lots of space and flushing toilets :) It got pretty chilly at night but the kids were champs with the cold.
One day while the kids were at school, Graham and I went with our friends Kim Dille and her little guy Isaak to the zoo. Once again, our zoo pass has been put to good use this year.
My friend Katie sent me this picture from her son's birthday party. Aiden made two really good friends up in South Weber - Max Brown and Kai Jensen. He spent almost all of his free time with them! Kai and Max didn't always get along and they'd even "fight" over Aiden at times. Aiden always felt bad when his two friends couldn't be friends with each other. But luckily during the party, Max and Kai got along great.
Aiden and Max enjoying a ride around on Lucy's scooter :) Love those two buddies!
Life was hectic and stressful during September so there were a lot of things I didn't document with pictures. Some major things were:
- Brennan played an awesome season of soccer. He sees the whole field unlike many 9-year-olds and is always ready to defend or help score a point. We loved cheering him on!
- Callie finished off her tumbling class. She learned so much and is often doing hand stands and cart wheels now.
- Aiden auditioned for his school play of The Little Mermaid where he got the part of King Triton! His best friend Max got the part of Sebastian and they were so excited to get to do it together.
- Steve & Rayane moved back to Utah! We were so excited to have them back!
And the biggest news of the month....
Nate was offered the job he wanted at Qualtrics!! More on that in the next post...
