Brennan turned 10 while we were in Saint George! It was fun to get to celebrate him with the Brewers and A&S Tadjes while we were down there. He made his own cake (funfetti with funfetti frosting) along with his buddies Ty and McKay. Callie and Meg and some of the other kids decorated a big sign for him and we had a fun day celebrating B turning 10!
He loves the Jazz and was so excited to get a new Jazz hat and Jazz ball.
Brennan is such an awesome kid! He is usually outside playing basketball or running around or riding his bike or scooter. He has lots of energy and loves to be busy. He has an amazing work ethic and when he puts his mind to something he does an amazing job. He has really wanted to be the best basketball player he can so he practices all the time and it's been so fun to see his hard work pay off! He loves to play with Graham and they are often found jumping on the tramp or wrestling on the couch. Brennan also always says funny words and phrases and it keeps us laughing. He calls Graham "Grum Bum" and calls people and things "Bush Bus" and "Nilch" and "Awesome Possum" and other random sayings. He brings a lot of life into our family and keeps us on our toes.
Since we were in Saint George for his b-day, he had a friend's party the next weekend. He wanted to have a basketball party with his buddies at the Legacy Center so that's what we did. It was kind of a crazy weekend as the US started closing down for quarantine for covid-19 (which I'll document about in another post) so a few of his friend's couldn't come in the end but most could come and the rec center was still open one more day before closing down which was perfect! It was kind of a ghost town there which worked for our benefit for the kids could have the big court all to themselves. They played basketball for an hour and a half and did some competitions and had an awesome time. They were all dripping sweat by the end. Then we finished the party with pizza and donuts. I'm so glad Brennan got to have a fun time with his buddies to celebrate his b-day before quarantine when he couldn't see them for a while!
