Aiden turned 12! How do we have a 12 year old?! Time needs to slow down. Aiden is an amazing kid! He is happy, helpful, kind, loyal, and always tries to choose the right. He's a great example to his siblings. He is also still very very obsessed with Legos. He has planned out what Lego sets he was going to get for his birthday for MONTHS. He loves to look on Amazon to see the different sets and day dream about having them :) He already has Lego sets picked out for Christmas and his next birthday. Not sure there are many kids that love Legos as deeply.
He woke up early on his birthday to build his three new sets. He loves Avengers right now so he got 3 Avengers sets and loved building and playing with them all morning.
Aiden invited some friends over in the afternoon to help him celebrate his big day. They had an epic water fight with hundreds of water balloons and other water toys. It was an overcast day and pretty windy but the kids didn't seem to mind the bad weather at all. They played some games like Capture the Flag and water balloon volleyball and had a great time! Aiden invited both girls and boys and the funniest part of the party was watching some of the boys and girls flirt like crazy. It made me realize just how old Aiden is getting! He starts Junior High next year which doesn't feel that long ago for me!
