It's a Miracle - School started again!

School started back up! It was a day anticiapted by all of us :) After schools shutting down in March, it seemed like schools would never open again. There was a lot of drama around "in person" or online school and a lot about masks or no masks for the kids. The school district let every family choose if they were doing in person or online. And then they shortened each day by an hour so the teachers had time to help their online students.  In the end, most kids in the district chose to go back to in person classes (including us) - but the caveat was they had to wear a mask.  The kiddos weren't super excited about the masks but if it meant going to school then we were going to do it!

Brennan started 5th grade with Mrs. Southwick. He was SO excited to have some good friends in his class and get to have recess again.

Callie started 2nd grade with Mrs. Warr. She loves school and was so happy to start it up again!

And Aiden started Junior High! It's so crazy to me he's this old (and so are we!) but he was super excited for this step...and also a little nervous. He's taking all of the regular classes and some fun electives - like Tech, Coding, Choir, and Psychology. And since Willowcreek is just across the road he gets to walk to and from school each day.

A couple weeks after the other kids started school, Graham started Pre-K at the Legacy Center with Miss Summer and Miss Melissa. He was nervous to go (because he doesn't like leaving home for long) but after a few tears he went in and he loves it now!
