October 2020

Besides Florida and Colorado, here are some more pictures from October...

These boys unintentially matched one day.
When we bought our house, the tramp was already in the ground. But the ground was slowly caving in around it so Nate had to take it all apart and redo the tramp hole with a retaining wall. It was a lot of work and man labor but he did it! The boys (especially Aiden) helped out a lot too.
We love General Conference weekend! We had the best weekend watching all of the sessions together and doing our annual Conference traditions - pizza between sessions Saturday and omelettes in the canyon between sessions Sunday. I love feeling uplifted by all of the messages and always end the weekend feeling so inspired. The canyon was so beautiful when we drove up there and we ended up driving around the Alpine Loop to see the pretty fall colors while we listened to the last session of Conference.
One night I found Graham in bed organzing his letters. He sure loves the alphabet and all things preschool.
Another project he made at preschool that he was so excited to show me - Apple glasses when he learned about Johnny Appleseed.
Before our trip to Florida, Callie and I went on a little girls day to get pedicures. It's so fun having a little buddy to do this with.

I went out to dinner at Nacho Daddy with some good friends from Bunco. I am so grateful for these girls! We've played Bunco for nearly 8 years and most of us have since moved away but we still get together when we can...and at least once a month for Bunco. We can talk about anything and everything and I am so grateful for them over the years!
"Spooky" gingerbread house.
Halloween! We had an amazing Halloween this year! We still sent our kids trick or treating (despite Covid) and almost everyone in our neighborhood did the same. We had a jailbird, BYU football player (for the 4th year in a row!), a purple witch, and Hulk. The kids dressed up for school on Friday and that night we went trick or treating at the Legacy Center with the Brewers. And then on actual Halloween, Brennan had his championship football game (and won! More on that in a sec...) and that night we had a Halloween party over here with the Curtis side and then the kids went trick or treating around the neighborhood. Aiden and Brennan had mapped out their route for trick or treating so they could be the most efficient and get the most candy ;) It was a happy Halloween!
Brennan has been a BYU football player for many years...the costume is getting a little small so I don't think he can use it for a 5th year...but we will see ;)
And yay for the #1 5th grade NFL flag team!! Brennan played amazing and scored two touchdowns - a run and a catch. His whole team played amazing. The team they played were super good and it was a really close game but they got it in the end. Such an exciting game!
