Found Graham like this asleep one night :)
It took an entire day but we took Christmas down and put all of our presents away. Our house looked so nice and open afterwards. I love Christmas decor but I always love putting it away.
This is what a lot of my month looked like - organizing ministering assignments! It was a lot of work. You make one simple change and it ripples into many other changes. It felt good once it was finally finished.
Callie had her big Pocahontas recital at the Covey Center. She is in Cast D and performed on Saturday night so on that Friday night we went to see Cast A perform so Callie could watch the performance from beginning to end as an audience member. We had so much fun on our mommy/daughter date! After the concert we went to Zupas for dinner and then Twisted Sugar for dessert. I love spending some one-on-one time with Callie!
Callie's main reason for picking Zupas was for the chocolate covered strawberries :)
The next night was Callie's recital! She was a squirrel for her modern dance and a piece of fruit for her ballet number. She did amazing! She is a natural little dancer and it was so fun to see her perform.
We played Telestrations as a family one night and Graham wrote lady bug for one of the pictures. We laughed when we saw that he made his Y a "BYU Y" Love that cute boy!
Nate loves skiing. He taught Callie to ski last month and Graham to ski this month. The kids quickly fell in love with skiing too. The older boys love to go a lot too. They have twilight/night skiing passes at Brighton this year and they go as often as they can. Both Callie and Graham caught on so fast to skiing. Graham has no fear and flies down the mountain. Nate loves having all four kids as his ski buddies now.
My parents gave us a donut pan for Christmas and we tried it out with some vanilla sprinkle donuts. They were a hit.
A big portion of our month was watching Aiden and Brennan play basketball. I love basketball season and we love to cheer them on! Aiden is on a Junior Jazz team and Brennan is on both a Junior Jazz team and a UC Bantam team. This is what our Saturdays look like:
For one of Brennan's games they showed up and this was the other team. That kid on the right is "supposedly" a 5th grader. Brennan's team was a little nervous when they saw his height but his team played their hearts out and beat them! 20-15.
Our sports-loving boy made his Valentine box. It's a football field and a basketball hoop with all of his favorite teams represented. Brennan lives and breaths all things sports.
