Here are some more pictures from March 2021:
Brennan LOVES all things sports and my parents gave him a basketball waste basket and a Jazz jacket and they were a hit!
Jazz gear from head to toe!
Junior Jazz games wrapped up. Aiden's team and Lucas' team played each other twice and it was fun to cheer them both on! Grandma and Grandpa came to both of those games and we especially loved when Aiden and Lucas were in at the same time and made sure to guard each other. :)
Aiden's team went to the championship which was exciting. They lost the championship game but did a great job.
Graham had a field trip to the fire station and was so excited about his fireman helmet and sucker.
Aiden participated in his first season for track and did awesome! He progressed so much. He competed in the mile run and when he first began he was running an 8:25 minute mile and by the end of the season he ran a 6:45 mile. We were so proud of him! His practices were intense and he worked really hard.
We had fun on some little adventures on our new side by side! We went to 5 Mile Pass and explored all over there and had a blast! We found some big hills to climb and some snow and mud and had so much fun! The kids love each taking turns to drive and deciding where to explore. We started a little fire in a secluded spot up there and roasted some marshmallows and warmed up by the fire. It was such a perfect night! I'm so excited for all of the fun we'll have on our Mule.
We found this cool spot we named the Five Fingers. It was a sandy mound in the middle of 5 mile pass. The kids loved exploring all over it.
A big project we did (mainly Nate) in March was install new garden boxes! We had wanted to improve our garden and we found these beautiful cedar boxes and some quality garden soil and ripped out the old boxes and put in the new ones. They look so pretty and I'm so excited to garden this summer! We put in three 4x8 boxes so I'll have plenty of space for a home garden!
We went with our neighbors the Bakers another night up to Soldier Pass. We're excited that we have friends with a side by side too so we can go together!
Aiden took Social Dance this year as an elective and didn't really love it and really didn't want to be in a ballroom competition but he had to do it for school. It was fun to watch him dance...it will probably be the last time I see him do ballroom again! He competed in both the Waltz and the Cha Cha.
We held our first Relief Society activity since we were called and it turned out great! Cathy was in charge of it and it was wonderful. We toured Angela Johnson's studio to see her preliminary Tree of Life sculpture exhibit. So much work and thought and effort went into each character for this exhibit and it was amazing! She's the same artist that created the Light the World exhibit at Thanksgiving Point and this Tree of Life exhibit will eventually be there as well. It was so nice to gather as a Relief Society in person as well!
