Callie Turns EIGHT

Sweet Callie turned EIGHT on June 7th! Eight is such a special age and we made sure to celebrate Callie hard! Since Callie was getting baptized later in the month, we took some special pictures of her by the Timpanogas Temple. My mom and Savannah came to help and Callie didn't mind the photoshoot at all!

Callie has the biggest heart and loves deeply. She's always giving us hugs and kisses and telling us she loves us (to which we tell her we love her more!) She is nurturing and kind and sensitive to the feelings of others.  She has a million friends and loves being social. I'm so excited to see where her future leads her!

The morning of her birthday Callie invited a bunch of her friends over for a Pajama Pancake Party! We ate pancakes, played the Saran Wrap game and lots of other party games, and had lots of fun with her friends.  This is such a fun age and we loved having her friends over to party!
Callie's friend Tyce shares her same birthday and was nice enough to come to Callie's party and hold his party the next day.
Callie's friends knew she loved arts and crafts projects and she received so many fun projects to do! She lined them all up in her closet and took a picture of her many presents.
After the party Grandma Tadje look Callie on a date to Deseret Book to buy scriptures and then took her out for dessert. I love that Diane has the tradition with each of her grandkids.
Then Callie planned an epic date for her birthday - Pedis and manis, dinner at Tucanos, and dessert at Handels! I love doing dates with the kids so we can spend quality time with them!
We joke that Callie is our carnivore because she loves meat...so Tucanos was the perfect spot to go for dinner!

On June 19th, Callie was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a beautiful day and ceremony! Callie and Savannah sang a duet of "When I Am Baptized" that was beautiful. Aiden gave a wonderful talk on baptism and my dad gave a great talk on the Holy Ghost. She had family and friends come support her on her special day. Afterwards, we had brunch at our house and loved getting to spend quality time with family and friends. We are so proud of Callie and we love her so much!
