Fall sports were still in full swing. Graham played flag football for the first time and loved it!
Conference weekend is always a favorite! We watched it in our basement and had plenty of treats and activities to keep us busy.
As always we did Pizza Pie Cafe between sessions on Saturday and on Sunday we went up Provo Canyon for omlettes. It was a beautiful fall day!
That evening once Conference was all over, we went on a family bike ride. Graham is now riding a bike all on his own!
Aiden competed in Alpine Days and did amazing! He's fallen in love with running and we are so proud of him for working hard during XC season.
Aiden had a choir concert. We were happy to go support him.
October brought the most beautiful weather! With all of the kids in school full time, I was able to do some day hikes with friends and I loved spending time with them out in nature! We hiked to Sunset Peak one morning.
A couple hours after I got home from that hike, we packed up the toys and went back up the mountains! The colors of the fall leaves were incredible this year! The pictures don't do any justice. Because the weather stayed warm for so long, autumn was stunning and really showed off her colors! We drove on a dirt road in front of Timp Mountain (Timpooneke Road) and had a beautiful evening.
Our favorite meadow:
I headed to NYC for a girls trip which I previously posted about. Once I got back, we tried to soak up the October weather a little more. We hiked to the Y one evening...
Graham wasn't the biggest fan this time...
Callie made this cute witch pumpkin for a pumpkin walk at school:
Another day, another hike! I went with a couple of friends up Big Cottonwood Canyon to see some more fall leaves. The leaves weren't quite as bright as they were earlier in the month but still pretty. And it was nice to fit in one last fall hike.
Brennan playing football outside in the cold...quite the fashionista ;)
Nate and I went to a fun Halloween party - Marty McFly and Doc Brown
We did a fun photo scavenger hunt around town...
Instead of carving pumpkins this year, we painted them.
Always BYU ;)
For Halloween this year we had two policemen, a BYU football player (again!), and Rooster from Top Gun.
Our ward did a big trunk or treat and chili cook-off.
I helped with the kids' class parties.
Steve showed up in a disturbing costume...
Beautiful night trick or treating in the neighhorhood.
