One Sunday after church, the kids did a bake off. The kids split into two teams and did great making their own cakes!
Grandma started teaching Callie to sew. Callie's super interested in learning and they began making a quilt together.
Brennan had friends come over after school on Wednesdays since it's early out day. They'd eat lunch and then I'd drop them off at the Legacy center to play basketball.
With this being our first Christmas in our basement, I started working on a little tree to go down there. I love how it was turning out...
Graham's toothless smile was the best. Just in time for Christmas so he can sing "All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth."
We went to the champtionship Lehi game at the Rice Eccles stadium. The Brewers and A&S Tadjes came too. It was COLD! But Lehi won which was cool. We went to Hires for dinner afterwards.
Callie and Graham were in the Primary Program. It's always my favorite sacrament meeting each year.
Callie and Graham did the Turkey Trot at school. Callie was in the top 3 in her class! She is speedy.Thanksgiving was wonderful! We did our annual bowling competition. And then we had dinner at Steve & Rayane's house. Nathan and Danae were in town so it was fun to spend Thanksgiving with them too. It was such a wonderful day! The kids love being with cousins!
Nate played a game with the kids...who could keep the chip clip on their ear for a minute. Some liked the game and some didn't
Callie was an amazing kitchen helper as we prepped food for dinner.I made a pumpkin shaped sourdough loaf. Sadly the twine I used to make it was baked inside of the bread so I had to do some surgery to get it out. Lesson learned for next time!
Rayane and Steve are wonderful hosts and Rayane had the prettiest table settings for the night:
The day after Thanksgiving, Nate and the older boys along with my dad went to San Fransisco to go to the BYU/Standford game. It was Aiden and Brennan's reward for going off of sugar. It was the boy first time there and they had a blast! They did all of the typical San Fran experiences - trolley ride (although Brennan didn't understand the hype), Ghiradelli Square, seals at Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate bridge, Muir Woods, and Lombard Street. They had a blast at the BYU/Stanford game and they were most excited about getting to meet the players on the field afterwards! They met Jarren Hall, Puka Nacua, and some of their other favorites.
Another memorable experience was sitting by Steve Young in church on Sunday morning! They went to sacrament meeting in a random ward and sat on the back row. After the sacrament, Steve Young came and sat in the empty seat next to Aiden! They were all freaking out quietly, including my dad :) Afterwards Nate got the guts to talk to him and he was the nicest guy and they ended up talking for a while. And he even offered to get a picture all together. Definitely a cool experience for the boys! It pays off to go to church on vacation :)
