Costa Rica!

Nate and I had the most incredible trip to Costa Rica with his work! We stayed at the Four Seasons in Costa Rica and it was by far the fanciest, most posh, incredible resort! Nate worked SO hard in 2022 to earn us this trip so it was such a treat to get to celebrate his success! We were put up in a private Villa at the Four Seasons with a balcony overlooking the beach and some trees with monkeys and all sorts of animals. It was so dreamy! We spent a lot of our time at the resort relaxing, swimming, laying out, working out, eating at their gourmet restaurants, and getting to know people he worked with.

The view from our Villa:

The first night, Qualtrics put on a Welcome Dinner that was beautiful! It was right on the beach and every detail was amazing!
That night we ordered room service and had the yummiest churros EVER! We made sure to order them every night going forward. The chips and guac were delish too.
We got to go on two excursions while we were there. The first one was to Diamante Eco Adventure Park. This was an all day excursion. It was hot a humid (record highs) the day we went but we still had a blast! It started off with a boat ride to Diamante. Then we walked around the animal sanctuary and saw so many animals up close! The monkeys and sloth were our favorite! We were dying at their cuteness! Then we did a four-wheeling ride through the jungle and on the beach. And we finished off with ziplining! Ziplining was so fun! It was a little freaky at first because I've only ever done small ziplines but loved it! It was a huge highlight of the trip. We even got to do a Superman Zipline from 80 stories high! It was scary for sure! But so worth it!
The monkeys feeding each other was the most adorable thing ever!\
The excursion included a photo package so we had some really fun photos from that day! The reaction on our faces on the Superman zipline and doing the tandem zipline say it all!
After the excursion we went back to the resort and ordered some poolside nachos. So yummy!
We had to hitch a ride on a golf cart up to our villa because it was about 1/2 a mile away. Sometimes we'd see wildlife on the way up. The best was when we passed this tree with a dozen monkeys having their siesta!
The day after the excursion we spent a lot of time at the pool, swimming and relaxing. Our kind of vacation!
Ceviche by the pool was excellent!
The plants around our villa were so pretty! After such a long winter in Utah it was refreshing to be there.
We went to dinner at a delicious steak house with Nate's team of managers. It was a really fun night getting to know them better and hanging out.
There was the prettiest sunset that night!
After we stuffed ourselves at dinner, we came back to more churros :)
The next day we had room service on the balcony which was excellent!
We left our food out and went inside for a few minutes and before we knew it this cute little coati was eating the rest of our breakfast! We noticed that it was missing its paw and was unable to climb down so we called the hotel staff to come rescue it. Coatis were all over the resort and before this trip I had never heard of them. But they were cute, sneaky little animals.
Our other excursion was a catamaran ride to a beautiful bay where we floated in the water, ate some food, and relaxed on the boat. It was a perfect, chill excursion. There were Qualtrics employees from all over the world and it was so fun to get to know so many new people! The catamaran was especially diverse - China, England, Germany, France, Austrailia, New York.
While we were floated in the water, one of the tour guides put an octopus on the mat I was on. It was cool to see close up but I was kinda freaking out because it kept coming  too close to me!

We came back for more beach time. We fell in love with the PBJ smoothies and virgin Miami Vices. I could get used to this kind of life! :)
And more churros of course!
The last night Nate's work did a farewell party. It was amazing! It was decorated so beautifully and the music and atmosphere were so cool. We talked with some of the friends we made, ate some good food, and watched an entertaining cirque-de-sole kind of show. Perfect ending to our trip!
Last round of churros that night...
Here's a few more pictures of around the resort:

It was such a memorable week with Q Club!! So grateful for Nate's amazing job and his hard work so we could experience this! <3
