April 2024

We started off April in the best way! With an incredible Caribbean Cruise! We were gone for 9 days and it didn't even feel too long! I posted all about that already. But needless to say, it was such an amazing trip!
Graham was baptized and confirmed a member of our church. I shared more about that on his birthday post. It was such a special day and we're so proud of him!

Callie did her last choir performance at River Rock. The theme was Sesame Street so she wasn't too thrilled about it because she feels like it's babyish. But she did it! My mom came to watch her perform too.
I went on Graham's field trip to a farm and we learned all sorts of fun farm facts. It was a really fun field trip. Graham was especially grossed out when he got to see the baby piglets eating from their mom ;)
Aiden went to his first Prom with his friend Vee and they had a ton of fun! They played pickleball for their day date and then had fun at dinner, the dance, and the after party. High school dances are an all day event!
We celebrated my mom's birthday with all of the Utah Curtis family.
Callie had her DTA tumbling showcase and did awesome! She's such a good tumbler and it's so fun to watch her tricks!
I went to the sweetest shower ever! My good friend Jamie hasn't been able to have children and so our incredible neighbor and friend Sam offered to carry her baby for her! Her selflessness is amazing! There was a really special spirit at that shower and I was so excited for Jamie to finally get to celebrate her baby boy's arrival!
Spring means there's signs of life again outside! I love when my plants and flowers begin to come alive again!
We went to the Taylorsville Temple open house. It's a beautiful temple and very unique from the others we've visited recently. I love that my kids get to see inside these temples before they're dedicated. Afterwards we went out for ice cream.
The temple grounds were gorgeous!
Brennan did tennis for a couple of months in the spring! It's not his main sport but he's really good at it! I love watching him play. He did it with a few of his buddies so that made it really fun for him.
