We went on a girls trip to Disneyworld! It was so much fun!! All of us were able to go except for Rayane. We hit all four parks in two days and hit all of the best stuff! It was a blast! Danae is a huge Disney parks fan so she knew exactly what rides to do first and how to manage the fast passes. She made the trip so easy for the rest of us.
Our first day we started off at Magic Kingdom. I've been to Magic Kingdom many times so it's nostalgic. We hit all of the best rides - Mine train, Space Mountain, Tron (this was my first time on it and it was the BEST ride!), Small World, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Ariel. Sadly, we were all so excited to ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure (the renovated Splash Mountain) but it was closed so we didn't catch that one.
Then we headed to EPCOT. It had been years since I've been there so I had forgotten some of the rides. Plus there were a lot of new rides too. We rode Guardians of the Galaxy (another favorite ride!), Spaceship Earth (which is so old and laughable), Soarin', Ratatouille, and we also walked around the lake to see all of the countries and try some yummy food from around the world. The Parisan Bakery was our favorite.
The next day we had a chill day. We stayed on Wyndam Bonnet Creek like we did before when my parents took our families to Florida. It was nostalgic to be back. It was too cold to swim or lay out at the pool so we just admired the beautiful property.
We took a picture in the same location we had a picture from when we came in 2015.
We then headed over to Disney's Boardwalk. We had never been here before but it was a beautiful area with Disney hotels, shops, restaurants, and a huge lake. We stopped by the Cake Bake Shop first and tried delicious cakes and cookie bars. It was really yummy and the decor inside was stunning.
We headed to Disney Springs after to do some more shopping and then eat dinner at the House of Blues. It was nice to have a chill day in between our park days.
The next morning we woke up early to be at Animal Kingdom for rope drop. It was my first time here and I loved it! The ambience was incredible. It looked and felt like Africa in the Africa section, and looked and felt like Asia in the Asian section. We only hit a few rides - Expedition Everest, Avatar Flight of Passage, the Dinosaur ride, and the Avatar ride Na'vi River Journey - but it was a fun morning there. We also had their baked mac n cheese and it was sooo good! I want to go back just for that ;)
This is the scenery while we waited in line for the Avatar ride...it was amazing! Pictures don't do justice.
Then we took a bus and spent the rest of the day at Hollywood Studios! I LOVED Hollywood Studios and really want to come back with my family. We had such a fun day! There's a really fun atmosphere there too. We rode the Tower of Terror (another favorite!), the Mickey & Minnie ride, Slinky Dog Dash, Rock n' Roller Coaster, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (also amazing!), Smuggler's Run, and we watched a cute rendition of Beauty and the Beast. The weather was also the best this day and the sunshine felt amazing!
The Star Wars land was pretty incredible. Disney wins at attention to detail.
It was just the best trip! <3
