We hiked Grove creek one morning. I love hiking this in the fall time when the leaves are started to change.
Another morning Nate and I hiked along the Summit trail in AF canyon. The fall colors were beautiful!
Later that day we hit up Cornbellys.
After one of Brennan's Gridiron games, they noticed that a bunch of BYU players were watching another game. These boys were so excited to go up to them after the game and meet them and ask for a picture!
I wasn't there that day because I was watching Callie cheer. Here she is with the football players and cheerleaders.
In between Conference sessions we went up Provo Canyon like we usually do to eat omelettes. It was a beautiful day and the kids love to throw the football and play near the river there.
Aiden raced in Regions at Art Dye. He did awesome!
I updated our wall with our new family pictures. I'm in love!
Nate and I were invited to a Murder Mystery dinner that my friend Cathy put on. It was so fun! Nate was a bat and I was Eddie Muenster. It was so fun to see everyone's costumes and try to stay in character. Nate ended up being the murderer and he played it well!
While we were gone we saw on our phone that Aiden was being asked to Sadies. I love the fun dance proposals.
Flag football championships are always a fun day! In the end Brennan's team won the Superbowl for Gridiron and they won the Lehi rec championship. Graham's team was in the final 2 for Gridiron but sadly lost the Superbowl game. Aiden's team played a couple games in the tournament but sadly lost.
In between the championship games, we went to James' baptism and loved sharing his special day with him.
I tagged along on Graham's field trip to the Natural History museum. It was fun hanging out with him and his buddies.
Callie loved her new bedroom! Everything was purple which is her favorite color.
I subbed Callie's class one day. These girls love to stay in a recess and act like they're teachers ;)
Movie outing with Nate and the littles. We love living so close to Fat Cats!
Nate and Brennan went to a BYU game with the Soelbergs. BYU played Oklahoma and BYU won in the last 10 seconds so it was a really fun game to be at. There was a really cool drone light show during it. They had a blast!
My Grandma Blackham turned 90! It was fun to celebrate her. Her memory struggles a lot now but she is still so pleasant and loving.
Nate and I snuck away for a beautiful evening golfing at Talon's Cove.
Nate went on a guy's trip with his brothers to Orlando. They had so much fun! They went on an airboat tour looking for gators, they went wake-surfing, they played golf, they went "deep sea fishing" (which turned out to be a bust), and they went to the BYU/UCF football game.
October-December I helped work with my friend Sheridan for a print shop. I mainly helped her package prints and mail them. Life was super busy and some weeks I worked 30 hours! I also helped at the booths at Pinners Conference and the Christmas Expo.
Callie's cheer competition season started up at the end of October. She competed in three competitions and her team did incredible! It was so fun to watch her! They placed 1st once and 2nd at the other competitions.
At church one Sunday, Aiden and his friend Kason showed up matching unintentionally :)
Callie went to the pumpkin patch for activity days. These girls had a lot of fun picking out some pumpkins.
Halloween! This year we had a 49ers player, a Dr Pepper girl, and a gangsta shark. We had an amazing Halloween! I helped with both kids' class parties, I watched the elementary school parade, we made a "spooky" dinner, and the kids had a blast with friends!
The kids all just went out on their own this year which was a first so I just stayed back and worked on a Christmas puzzle while they trick or treated. It was super chill and a very different but great Halloween!
Not pictured: Aiden received his patriarchal blessing which was a really special experience! We are so proud of him and we're excited to see where his future takes him.
