This year Nate took both boys on our ward's Fathers and Sons outing. He was originally only going to take Aiden because Brennan is still so young, but at the last minute he decided he wanted to take both boys so all three of them could have an adventure. And I definitely was not gonna complain about that!
The three of them had a blast up Hobble Creek Canyon. They played with rocks and sticks and dirt, played by the river, and did all the stuff that 1-year-olds and 3-year-olds like to do. Plus they got to roast marshmallows and thanks to Nate, they had LOTS of candy to eat. Nate's been working long hours lately so I'm so glad he got to do something fun with A & B.
Meanwhile, I got to shop all by myself. That never happens so I enjoyed taking all the time that I wanted. Then I got to see The Help with my mom which is an incredible movie! But it was SO weird to come back to an empty house. I was very happy to have them back the next morning to fill our quiet home!
