I have yet to write anything about my pregnancy on the blog so far. I am slacking off. I'm 14 weeks now so I'm just starting the 2nd trimester. Yes, I still have a ways to go! We are SO excited to be expecting again! We feel so blessed to be able to have another little baby in June. I'm a little nervous about the three kid thing because I am so comfortable with our family of four, but also incredibly happy to add to our family at the same time.
Here is a picture of our little babe at about 12 weeks:
I didn't do a good job of documenting my past pregnancies, so hopefully this time around I will be better at writing about it all. I want to be honest on here that this pregnancy has not been a walk in the park this time around. The first trimester was rough. Just a few days after I found out I was pregnant, the morning sickness ("all-day sickness") hit. I didn't have morning sickness with my other pregnancies (and have only thrown-up a couple times in my entire life until now) so I was not mentally prepared for how hard it is at all! I was constantly hungry, but nothing sounded good so I'd force myself to eat something and then I'd just feel sick. It was a cycle that didn't seem to end for weeks on end. Plus, the weird SI joint pain/posterior pelvic pain I had at the end of Aiden's pregnancy has already showed back up and I don't even have a big belly yet. The doc explained that it was normal to get the pain during the first trimester because my hormones have just relaxed my ligaments too much. For a while, I was in pain no matter if I was standing, sitting, laying down, or practically doing anything. But the pain isn't as severe as it was a couple of weeks ago so hopefully it goes away soon. I think all my hormones have finally calmed down now that I'm in my 2nd trimester and I am so grateful to feel a little better!
During the last couple of months, I have been SO blessed with friends and family helping me out - watching my boys, driving Aiden to preschool, and bringing us meals. And my friend Jen's 12-year-old daughter even volunteered to come play with the boys while I took a nap in my room a couple of days which was SO sweet of her. My mom has helped entertain the boys while I napped at her house a few times and Nate has been amazing at cleaning the house, feeding the kids dinner, and making sure I feel okay. I am so thankful people have been so understanding. I seriously have such amazing friends and family!
I am so glad to be on the mend finally and feeling more like myself again! I am so excited to find out if it is a boy or girl in January. People say because I had morning sickness so bad it must be a girl. But then others have said that it's probably a boy because we already have two boys so it is more likely this one will be a boy too. But we really don't care if it's a boy or girl, we'll be happy either way!

We are so excited for you guys!! What fun news! I'm so sorry you have been so sick...I KNOW your pain! But what I don't know is how you dealt with it while also being a mom to two other kids. I will just die if I get it that bad the next time around! Glad to hear you are feeling better!
