As of Saturday, my little brother Steve is a married man! Steve met Rayane online through his old mission companion (his companion was from Rayane's ward in Natal). They started talking online and quickly fell in love. They kept their long distance relationship up through Skype and then Steve got to go visit her in Brazil two different times before the wedding. It was a long process trying to figure out the visas and documentation to get married in another country and to have Steve move there for at least the next few month but it all worked out in the end and they got married last Saturday!
Nate and I wish we could have gone down to Natal for the wedding as do the rest of my siblings, but luckily my parents got to go down and meet Rayane, her son Lucas (we're so excited the boys have another cousin just about their age), and her family and friends. My mom said they had an amazing time meeting Rayane and being at the wedding. Steve was great to translate for my parents the majority of the trip because my parents know so little Portuguese. But they had a great time and they said Steve and Rayane are head over heels for each other! We are so happy for them and we can't wait to meet Rayane and Lucas one day - hopefully soon!
I stole some pics off facebook to share of their beautiful wedding.

The happy new couple!
Welcome to the family Rayane and Lucas!!
