Since the 4th was on a Saturday this year, it was a full weekend of BBQs and celebrating. Friday night we had a BBQ with Aaron & Samantha & kids, followed with some fireworks. We always love hanging out with them. Then on Saturday, Nate and Brennan woke up early and ran a mile together (B is determined to get strong muscles) and then we went swimming as a family. After swimming, we had another BBQ with my side of the family. Nathan and Danae and girls had just gotten into town so it was fun to have them there, along with my dad, Becca, and Steve and Rayane (my mom was still on the MOTAB tour). After the BBQ, we headed closer to Thanksgiving Point to watch some more fireworks.
I love this picture of these cute Tadje cousins. We love having them live right on our cul-de-sac!
