camping trip

We went on a 2 night camping trip up at Timpanooke with the Brewers and Aaron & Samantha's family.  Last year when we went camping with the Brewers, it rained and we ended up leaving early.  But this year the weather was perfect.  Nothing beats being up in the beautiful canyon with good friends, good food, and good weather.  I was a little nervous how Graham would do up there but he slept through the night both nights and was an angel the entire time.  And the amount of dirt on the older kids showed us that they enjoyed camping too.

 These two had to be watched closely b/c they were always getting into trouble...  As busy and sometimes naughty as they are, they sure are cute and I'm glad Callie has such a good buddy.

Aiden hiked to Scout Fall with his Scout troop about a month ago and he loved it and has been dying to take our whole family.  So on Saturday, we all hiked it.  The trailhead is just down the road from our campsite (same trailhead as the Timp mountain hike) so it was perfect.  It was a gorgeous hike and I'm so glad Aiden recommended it!

Justin was kind enough to carry Graham up and down the hike for us.

 The whole crew - Brewers, Tadje 1, and Tadje 2 (as the Brewers call us). We love hanging out with these two other families and since we're together often for outings and BBQs and things - it was time to get a whole group picture...despite the fact that we were all dirty and sweaty from camping :)

It's one of our new favorite hikes and we'll definitely do it again!
