Mega June Post

So much went on in June and although I've already posted about the big things (the 3 birthdays and Bear Lake) I still have a lot of other pictures to add.

{Family Swim Night}
My dad got us tickets to the Cedar Hills swim night in Pleasant Grove.   It was a great night to kick off summer.
{Basketball Camp}
The boys did a four day basketball camp at AF high school.  Aiden loved it and Brennan not so much.  He said his coach yelled too much...hopefully next year he gets a different coach!
 {BYU outings}
My mom planned a few "Grandma Playdays" this summer.  The first couple we headed down to BYU to meet up with Rayane and kids and have some fun.  One of the days we went to the MOA and the kids got to meet Cosmo.  And another day we went bowling at the Wilkinson Center.  We love our outings and we're looking forward to a few more this summer.
 {Cedar Hills days Carnival}
My parents had A&B spend the night during Cedar Hills days.  They went to the movie in the park one night and then to the parade with them in the morning.  Then we met up with everyone at the carnival and my parents treated us to a fun day there.  The kids each got passes for unlimited rides and they were in heaven!
 After a full day at the carnival, we all came home and crashed...Callie even fell asleep on the floor.
 {Birthday Fun}
I already posted about the majority of the birthday celebrations but here are a few more pictures.  We do a special breakfast on each birthday and open presents in the morning.  Callie got a scooter this year and was super excited to have one just like Coleson.
 Grandpa shares a birthday with Callie.  He turned 70 this year!  He was sick on his actual birthday but Amie sent me this picture of him opening up his present from all of us kids - a new grill.
 Speaking of birthdays, since Aiden is now 8 he got to start scouts!  Grandma Curtis took him shopping to get all of his scout gear and scout book.  I never thought scouting was cute until now!
We celebrated Nate and Aiden and Callie one night with all of the Blackham family.
 {Flag Ceremony}
On Flag day this year, the AF cemetery had a ceremony when they hung their new big flag.  Since Aiden is a scout now he got to be a part of it.  He was so excited to get to "hold" the flag underneath it as it was walked to the flag pole.
 {Kayaking with friends}
The Brewers just bought kayaks and we went and tried them out with them one evening.  The boys loved it and now they say they want kayaks for their Christmas present :) After kayaking we had a BBQ at our place.  Nothing says summer more than a BBQ.
 {More outings}
We had another fun outing to Thanksgiving Point with Luanne and her kids and my grandma. I love having a pass there!
 We do a "park day" with our ward friends every Wednesday.  We love it and look forward to it each week.  Our favorite park so far has been the Manila pond. The kids could have played in the sand for days.
 Aiden finished up his baseball season and had a great last game before it started pouring rain.  Sadly, the only picture I got at his final game was of this cute boy:
{Random Pics}
Graham got sunburned on our hike to Silver Lake.  His poor nose got blistered so bad.  I've been way more diligent about sunscreen this summer now.
Nate and Graham matched one day :)
Callie usually dresses up in my shoes and things but she tried Nate's one time and looked like a cute little cyclist.
Callie takes my phone all the time and takes random pictures.  Most are blurry but I found this gem one day:
I walked into this sight one evening...all the kids bathed and in bed and reading a bedtime story.  That's a good dad right there.
I spent a day organizing Graham's clothes cause he outgrew his newborn clothes so fast.  This shirt he's wearing here is a 12 month shirt.  He is one big boy!  Even getting him into the bumbo is a tight squeeze.  Love this chunk!
I bought the kids all some sunglasses at Children's Place and they looked so cute so I took a picture just because. O how I love these guys!
A few other June highlights:
- Aiden went to Seven Peaks with Tristen and his family.  They bought Aiden a Pass of All Passes for the year.  They said Aiden was fearless on the slides and I was so proud of him for being brave.
- We've been doing the Summer Reading program at the library.  The kids have been diligent in reading each morning (with a little nudging from me of course). They have been earning little prizes for all their reading.  We've also done a few of the fun activities they've held this summer like the water balloon relays and story times.
- We went swimming a couple of times during the month.  Trying to watch the 3 older kids and keep Graham out of the sun is pretty exhausting so we haven't swam a ton this summer.
