We spent the first weekend of August up in Idaho and had an amazing time with Jared & Trina & family. The weather was warm and beautiful and so we spent the majority of the weekend on the lake and loved it! This year was extra fun because we ALL surfed! Aiden and Brennan learned how to wakeboard and surf and they did awesome. Nate and I were so proud of them for trying something new! Callie and Graham loved going with Nate too. Graham wanted every turn to be his turn and didn't love waiting for his turn again :) I tried surfing too and started to get the hang out it and had a lot of fun trying. Jared is always so patient to help teach us all and give us many turns. Jared & Trina's kids are super talented surfing and wakeboarding and it's really fun to watch them out on the water.
When we weren't on the lake, we had a great time hanging out at the cabin. Our Idaho cousins taught us the game Cover Your Assets and we all got obsessed with it and played it a ton. The kids loved exploring outside and hanging out in the hot tub and playing with their cousins.
We love this tradition and are already looking forward to next year!
