We drove out to Clearwater Beach one of the days. On the way, we drove by my old Ellesmere home and around Carrollwood for a walk down memory lane. It was neat seeing my old home but they have painted it blue which definitely doesn't look as good as it used to!
We had a great afternoon playing at the beach. We jumped in the waves, searched for seashells, saw a manatee on the shore, played in the sand, played pass, and watched a beautiful sunset. Just being back at the beach with the seagulls flying overhead and the smell of the ocean was very nostalgic for me! Clearwater is such an amazing beach because the water is warm and the sand is soft and it stretches out for miles. It was such a great day enjoying the Florida sun!
After the beach, I introduced the family to Checkers and everyone fell in love with those yummy Checkers fries. It was the perfect day!
