April 2021

We headed to Five Mile Pass one Saturday and invited Grandma T and A&S Tadjes to come. We took turns on our side by side and built a bonfire. The older boys ended up building their own fire too. It was such a great night! We always love spending time with them!

Thanks to Nate's new drone, we got a cool picture of all of us:
General Conference is always a big highlight of April. Easter weekend fell on General Conference this year. On Saturday, we ate at Pizza Pie Cafe after both sessions and then while the YM and dads watched the Priesthood session, we made some yummy Easter treats at my house.  Easter Sunday was an incredible day. We had a yummy breakfast and then watched Conference. Between sessions we did an Easter egg hunt in our yard. A&B wanted us to hide the eggs really good and so we did! It took them a while to find them. Graham and Callie (and our neighbor Brooklyn) had fun finding eggs and running around too.  It was such a beautiful day! It was warm and sunny and not windy and we spent as much time as possible outside.
After the second Conference session on Sunday, we went to my parents for Easter dinner. My mom put on a fun Easter scavenger hunt at the park. The kids loved spending time with their cousins. It was the most perfect day!
Grandma Blackham came to dinner too and it was great spending the evening with her too.
The kids got this huge chocolate bunnies at the end of their treasure hunt and they were pretty excited about it!
The day after Easter, Spring Break began. We hung out at home the first half of spring break and the kids played with friends, had a snow cone stand, went to Lowe's Air Sports, and enjoyed having no school. One night we went and hiked the Y as a family. I love that hike even though it's pretty steep! The kids did awesome and we rewarded them with a trip to the Creamery afterwards! The second half of Spring Break we headed to Goblin Valley/The Wedge which I posted about separately.

We celebrated my Mom's 61st birthday:
I went mountain biking with some women in my neighborhood and it was so fun! I'm pretty new to mountain biking but it's such a fun way to get outdoors and exercise!
We had another fun adventure at Five Mile Pass. We invited my parents and Becca and Steve & Rayane and it was fun to have them along!
Poor Tyler fell in a cactus and so he had to go without pants the rest of the night. He was so tough!
Graham is obsessed with basketball these days. I found him like this heading outside one day :)
