Temple trip with Brewers and A&S Tadjes. It's so exciting to have two kids old enough for the temple now and friends and cousins that can go too!
Aiden is almost taller than Uncle Aaron...
Over spring break we got to dog sit Erik & Amie's dog Duke! He has a lot of energy and doesn't love other dogs (so taking him on walks was kinda stressful) but the kids really enjoyed having a dog around for a week.
Callie's pretty nervous around dogs but by the end of the week she was warming up to Duke!
It was my mom's last Conference as a member of the Tabernacle Choir so we were able to get tickets to a few of the sessions which was great! My mom, Becca, and I went to the Women's Session. And then we took the three oldest kids to a session. Conference weekend is always so uplifting and inspiring! It was fun to be there in person because it had only been virtual for quite some time due to Covid! We were lucky to be among the first group to get to watch Conference in person again.
It was crazy to see the SLC temple look like this. It's closed for the next few years as the church makes it earthquake safe and reinforces it.
The most exciting part of the month: our basement was completed!! After months of contractors and the mess of finishing a basement, it was done! We spent the majority of spring break moving in and getting completely organized downstairs. Aiden and Brennan each took a room downstairs and we switched around the bedrooms upstairs and made Nate an office so it was quite the ordeal to get settled again! Here are pics of the basement right when it was finished:

That's better:
We had our first family movie night in the basement which was so fun!! This is exactly what we had envisioned.
We hiked the Y with our cousins. Always a classic Provo hike.
With the weather warming up, we took out the Mule for some fun.
Brennan loves driving his Maxx around.
The many faces of Graham in the Mule:
Callie and I took my mom out for pedicures for her birthday. It's always fun to be pampered!
Our little money maker bought a nice snow cone maker to have a little business in the summer. He's always thinking up some way to earn extra cash.
I got to chaperone on Callie's field trip to the zoo. It was so fun to spend the day with her and her friends! It was pretty cold but we still had a great time! The girls in my group all wanted lots of photo ops around the zoo so here's a short sampling of those..
Graham's kindergarten class did a little Easter egg hunt and it was fun to be a part of that.
Easter was a beautiful day! We celebrated Christ's life at church and then my mom and dad put on a Passover meal which was really neat. It was a unique way to celebrate Christmas. The kids had a fun time doing an egg hunt around the house and getting Easter baskets filled with candy.
More Mule time enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
Aiden was growing like a weed! Every day he felt a little taller and older and he quickly passed me up for good!
At the end of the month, we headed to St George with the Brewers for some fun in the sun! We stayed at a condo with them and had such a blast swimming and hiking and enjoying St George with them! There was a ton of time at the pool and Graham started turning into a raisin!
Ty had a ninja competition down there so we all got to go cheer him on! He is so amazing and it was fun to have this fan club watch him ninja!
We hiked to the coolest arch down there! The red rocks are so beautiful and family hikes are my favorite!
Head lamp/glow stick hike through the crack which was a fun adventure!
That was a long post! But that sums it up!
